Inaugural Nantucket Bird Festival a hit

(Oct. 27, 2011 ) Last weekend during Nantucket’s inaugural Birding Festival, participants spotted several very rare species, making the festival a “raging success,” according to Vern Laux, a resident naturalist at the Linda Loring Nature Foundation, which hosted the event.

Airport manager fired
