The two-story house in Pacific Palisades is a contemporary take on traditional Nantucket design. It sits just a short hop from the Pacific Ocean but it was a coastline some 3,000 miles away that inspired this airy beach-style house in Pacific Palisades.

The body of a 27-year-old man has been recovered after he failed to resurface from a dive near the wreck of the Andrea Doria off Nantucket.

(July 28, 2011 ) Two Nantucket sailors, David Southwell and Matt Judson, traveled to Chicago earlier this month to race in the 380-boat, 333-mile Race to Mackinac, and came home victorious but with bittersweet memories.

(July 28, 2011 ) Zachary Britton of Brookline, Mass. blew away the competition at the third annual Nantucket Triathlon Saturday, crossing the line in just over an hour, two minutes ahead of last year’s top finisher and nearly four minutes ahead of second-place Raymond Botelho.
