New restaurant to open in Jared Coffin House

(Jan. 31, 2011) Michael Sturgis has entered into an agreement with Nantucket Island Resorts to operate a full-service restaurant at the Jared Coffin House, tentatively scheduled to open Daffodil Weekend through Columbus Day weekend and reopening for Thanksgiving through Christmas Stroll.

She had enjoyed vacationing on Nantucket Mildred H. Boynton, a homemaker who enjoyed vacationing on Nantucket, Mass., died Jan. 17 of pneumonia at the Broadmead retirement community in Cockeysville. She was 91.
