(Jan. 31, 2011) Michael Sturgis has entered into an agreement with Nantucket Island Resorts to operate a full-service restaurant at the Jared Coffin House, tentatively scheduled to open Daffodil Weekend through Columbus Day weekend and reopening for Thanksgiving through Christmas Stroll.

NANTUCKET - The King Philip Regional High boys' basketball team moved within two victories of qualifying for the MIAA Tournament as a result of a 53-23 shellacking of the Whalers at Nantucket Saturday in a non-league game.

She had enjoyed vacationing on Nantucket Mildred H. Boynton, a homemaker who enjoyed vacationing on Nantucket, Mass., died Jan. 17 of pneumonia at the Broadmead retirement community in Cockeysville. She was 91.
