We've been watching disgraced Tyco CEO Dennis Kozlowski sell off his stuff for a long time. There was a lot of to sell, fine antiques , a classic sailing yacht and of course, some very tempting real estate. Problem is, the real estate isn't moving quite so quickly. Kozlowski's homes have sat on the market for a while despite their obvious charms. Wind turbines less than a mile from shore, tidal power generators off Martha’s Vineyard, deepwater aquaculture, commercial wind farms behind the Elizabeth Islands and in the middle of Cape Cod Bay — these uses are all allowed in the state’s draft Ocean Management Plan, the Nantucket Independent reported. When I was a little girl, I was always fascinated watching my favorite Aunt Betty doll herself up. Powder, rouge, mascara, eyeliner, and lipstick were the makeup of the 40’s. I never thought about it coming off. It was just so neat for a toddler to watch the war paint go on. A few years later I learned that the jar of Pond’s cold cream sitting in her bathroom was for removing it. I never used much makeup myself because of the skin problems I had as a teen.
